Job Description

Responsibilities:

Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair Siemens, PLCs, VSDs, and Simcodes
Repair and install Profibus and fibre networks
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation and control systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on instrumentation to prevent breakdowns.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
Document all work performed and keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure smooth operation of mining equipment.

Requirements:

N6 Certificate in Instrumentation with a Trade Test Certificate OR a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
BTech Degree in Electrical Engineering (advantageous)
At least 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the mining industry.
Knowledge of PLC systems, SCADA systems, and other control systems used in mining operations.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Benefits:

Salary: R750K-R950K
