Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
Degree or Diploma in Production, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
Certification in Society of Cosmetic Chemists South Africa (SCCSA) is an advantage.
Certification in quality management systems (ISO 9001) and other relevant ISO standards is an advantage/requirement.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Production Manager or similar role.
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a Production or related functional team.
3 years of experience working in a cosmetic manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated project management skills and experience training employees in productivity and safety.
Knowledge of productivity measurement tools.
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts, including cost accounting.
Proficient in relevant computer packages (e.g., MS Office, Dynamic 365).
Ability to capture information and produce reports based on the ERP system.
Knowledge of identified business systems, e.g., Dynamic 365 & F&O.
Understanding of receiving, production, procurement, warehouse, and dispatch processes.
Understanding of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
Strong understanding of process compliance, e.g., SOPs.
