Duties & Responsibilities

As a Stock Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth administration of all processes and procedures related to the stock control function at the branch. This role is based in Kliprivier, Johannesburg South.

Responsibilities will include:

Stock Management Operations:
Execute stock management operations in accordance with inventory control best practices.
Uphold the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency in stock handling.
Stock Takes and Adjustments:
Conduct regular stock takes, including cycle counts, to maintain inventory accuracy.
Investigate and address stock variances promptly and effectively.
Material Order Planning:
Collaborate with the Assembly Foreman and Stores personnel for effective material order planning.
Ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials to meet operational needs.
Monitoring and Advisory:
Monitor stock usage patterns and provide insightful advice on optimal stock levels.
Contribute to strategic decision-making by offering recommendations based on stock trends.
Internal Branch/Stock Transfer:
Facilitate internal branch and stock transfers, ensuring seamless logistics and inventory movements.
Item Master List:
Maintain and control the Item Master List with precision and attention to detail.
Regularly update and verify item details for accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications and Experience needed:
Degree in Finance/Stock Management
Proven experience in stock control or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
