Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and assist sales staff in the achievement of their sales and growth targets.
Ensure achievement of GP margin
Increase the turnover of existing Customers
Increase turnover from new business
Increase turnover from new product sales
Business targeted, dormant accounts reactivated, and increased product sales to existing customers
Manage the frequency and cost-effectiveness of the call cycles of sales representatives
Manage a structured sales process to ensure the quality of calling
Tracking of the usage of the tools provided to Sales Reps in training
Tracking of segmentation of high-priority and low-priority customers
Increase usage of company’s Online/App
Resolve complaints and queries effectively
Monitor turnaround of Customer’s factory lead times and expectations where required
Determine and manage the Customer’s expectations regarding stock and delivery
Ensure sales staff adhere to planned visits and understand the needs and objectives of all customers.
Establish and build Customer relationships and take personal ownership of resolving complaints.
Manage headcounts within agreed budgets
Achieve Employment Equity targets
Maintain effective leave planning and absenteeism management
Facilitate training and development interventions
Review performance in discussion with employees, agree on ratings, and set goals for a new period.
Continuously communicate and provide constructive feedback and coaching to employees
Take disciplinary action where required.
Develop expert product knowledge on the company product range
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Grade 12
Post matric qualification preferably in Sales / Marketing
5 years Sales Management experience (PPE, Cleaning and Paper experience is advantageous
Knowledge and Skills:
Good Communication Skills

Understanding of sales cycle and key account management
