Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities :

Key performance areas:

Monthly, annual, and weekly meetings with all the operational department heads as scheduled by the regional managers
Site Clarification meetings for Tenders & Quotations as required
Attend meetings with Client representatives to clarify queries with claims, quotations as required
Compiling all the quotations for services rendered to customers for approval by the Regional Manager
Compiling all tender documents for approval by the Regional Manager
Promoting sales to clients and potential clients.
Analysing all quotations / tenders in terms of viability to price
Setting up of Quotation
Requesting of pricing for materials required for the quotation
Compile Monthly Claims for work done
Follow up on Claim approvals and invoicing
Follow up with Finance with regards to payment of invoice
Advise Site management Staff on Allowable rates for work to be done
Compile monthly costing reports and reports

Desired Experience & Qualification

The successful candidate must have:

Matric with a B.Tech or B.Sc degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar qualification
Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
Excellent computer literacy – (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Familiar with relevant contracts and standards such as, JBCC 2000 Series, GCC (General Conditions of Contract), SABS/SANS 1200 and COLTO
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Must have an analytical and numerical aptitude
Must have outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
Must be able to multitask
Must have a valid driver’s license
