Duties & Responsibilities :

Key performance areas:

Perform people management functions in the butchery.
Ensure client satisfaction of our customers.
Ensure product and stock availability through effective planning.
Perform stock management functions within the butchery.
Manage the administrative functions within the butchery.
Take responsibility for all quality control activities in the butchery environment.
Manage all Hygiene and Safety activities of the butchery.
Conduct various ad-hoc responsibilities to assist the team.

Desired Experience & Qualification

The successful candidate must have:

Matric with an NQF qualification or relevant qualification.
Blockman NQF 3 qualification would be advantageous.
Previous Management experience will be advantageous
Basic knowledge of first aid will be advantageous.
Must have previous experience in the Meat / Retail Industry.
Must have knowledge of butchery hygiene and safety standards.
Must have knowledge of meat cuts/products.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
