Job Description

Responsibilities:

– Oversee and manage all financial records and transactions
– Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
– Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly
– Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
– Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly tax returns
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
– Supervise and mentor junior bookkeeping staff
– Keep up to date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements:

– Grade 12 and Diploma/Certificate in Bookkeeping/Accounting
– 2-3 years’ bookkeeping experience in FMCG Industry
– Sage Evolution Advantageous
– Basic to Intermediate Excel
– MS Office- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
