Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all operational activities at the mine site, including all mining and processing processes, people management, RandM,HandS and QC.
Monitor and maintain safe working conditions, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Coordinate and supervise a team of miners and equipment operators to ensure optimal production levels.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any operational issues or inefficiencies.
Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment uptime and reliability.
Communicate regularly with management and other stakeholders to provide updates on production progress.

Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Mining Engineering or related field.
Mine Overseer Certificate of Competency.
At least 5 years open cast mining experience.
Strong knowledge of mining operations, safety regulations, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mining software applications.
