Job Description

Responsibilities:

– Conduct regular assessments to identify gaps in compliance with industry standards and regulations
– Develop and implement strategies to address any non-compliance issues
– Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that all departments are meeting relevant standards
– Keep up to date with changes in standards and regulations that may affect the organization
– Liaise with external regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all requirements
– Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on relevant standards and regulations
– Monitor and report on compliance levels to senior management

Requirements:

– ND/Degree in Safety or Risk Management
– Proven track record in the underground mining environment
– Electrical/Mechanical Trade Test Certificate is advantageous
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
– Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities
