Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Oversee the completion of finishing work on construction projects, including painting, tiling, flooring, cabinetry, and other tasks.
– Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of finishing materials.
– Inspect finished work to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
– Manage a team of finishing workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
– Communicate regularly with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress.
– Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the finishing phase.
– Enforce safety regulations and best practices on the construction site.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience working in construction, with a focus on finishing work.
– Proven experience overseeing finishing projects from start to finish.
– Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and best practices.
– Excellent communication and leadership skills.
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
– Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
