Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities :

Our client based in Cape Town is looking for a Senior Accountant with automotive industry experience.

The ideal candidate will apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Must have a grip of financial operations and oversee financial status of the dealership

Duties:

Account processing
Financial analysis and reporting
Budgets
Corporate governance, compliance and audits
Financial systems and databases
Respond to account queries
Training and leadership of other financial employee on systems and processes

Requirements

Experience with a premium brand is essential
Grade 12 + relevant tertiary education in accounting/financial management
Must have at least 5 years experience in an accounting role within the automotive industry
Prior experience working on Kerridge, Autoline or Pinnacle / Keylook DMS

Beneficial Skills

Tax Calculations is advantageous
Knowledge of Motor Dealership operations is advantageous
