Duties & Responsibilities
Are you an experienced BI Full Stack Developer/Engineer with a passion for data engineering, application development, and data architecture? Are you skilled in SQL, database technologies, scripting languages, and ETL tools? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions.
Implement data engineering and application development best practices to ensure efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval.
Design, develop, and optimise data models, data pipelines, and data integration processes.
Create and maintain scalable data warehouses and data marts.
Develop and maintain ETL processes using industry-leading tools and technologies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform data analysis and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and reliability.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; OR
National Diploma in any IT related discipline.
3-8 years of experience as a BI Full Stack Developer/Engineer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies and development.
Solid understanding of data architecture principles and data modeling concepts.
Experience with Hadoop ecosystem and related technologies (HDFS, Hive, Spark, etc.).
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or related languages.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
