Position: Finance and Operations Manager

Company:Multi-National Renewable Energy Company – Mozambique Office

Location: Mozambique

Overview:

Our client is a leading global renewable energy company with decades of expertise within the energy market and presence in over 50 countries.

They are currently recruiting for a hands on and technically savvy Finance and Operations Manager to lead the administrative and finance function in their offices in Mozambique.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals.
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Manage cash flow, monitor financial performance, and provide regular financial analysis and recommendations to the management team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness. Sales, Marketing IT divisions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholers
Lead and mentor a team of finance and operations professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the renewable energy industry or related sectors.
Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.
