Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Business Planning:

Development and execution of the Service Business Plan.
Setting yearly sales budgets for the service department.


Day to day management of the Service Department:

Recruitment, on-boarding, and training of new staff.
Ensuring a positive working environment and culture.
Analyse service data to identify trends, assess performance and make data-driven decisions.
Performance managing members of the Service teams including yearly performance reviews.
Implementing systems and processes to ensure efficient work practices.

Customer relationship management:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, resolving issues.
  • Sales:
  • Management of the entire sales and service function within the company:
  • Authorisations, discounts, and our T&Cs.
  • Manage commercial negotiations, including sales contracts, hire agreements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Financials:
  • Expenditure control for Service Departments.
  • Travel to mining clients into Africa.

Desired Experience & Qualification

5-7 Years Service Management experience within the mining/manufacturing industry.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field would be an advantage (e.g., bachelor’s degree in business administration / management).
Budgeting and financial management skills
Project and Contract Management understanding.
Proven ability in achieving sales budgets.
Industry experience in automotive/mining and/or manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of Industry specific regulations and standards.
