Job Description
Duties :
The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
Maintaining the HACCP programme
Managing the corrective action system
Monitoring staff personal hygiene
Managing and monitoring product flow
Adhering to HACCP/Hygiene standards
Ensuring that efficient recording takes place of all rejected carcasses
Reporting all variances to the Processing Manager
Implementing and managing the 20-keys system
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
Must have a Poultry Meat Examiner qualification
Must have excellent leadership skills to manage a team
Ability to speak English and a second official language
Must be able to communicate at all levels
Must be able to work in a high pressured environment
Must have strong administrative skills
Proven PME experience in a manufacturing environment
Must be willing to work shifts and overtime including weekends and public holidays
Sound Knowledge of FSSC 22000, GMP requirements and relevant guidelines and Quality Management Systems
Knowledge of statistical process control
The chosen candidate must be proactive, have good management, communication and interpersonal skills as well as problem solving and planning skills
