Job Description

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all aspects of the company’s mining operations in Gauteng, including planning, production, safety, and compliance.
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and government agencies.
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of managers and employees to achieve operational goals and deliver results.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute long-term business strategies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within the mining industry, with a focus on operations management.
Strong technical knowledge of mining operations, including drilling, blasting, and mineral processing.
Proven track record of delivering results and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
