Logistics Coordinator (Mining)

Job Description

Respondents :

Coordinate and manage logistics operations within the mining operations
Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient transportation, handling, and storage of materials
Monitor inventory levels and track material movements
Implement and improve logistics processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of logistics activities

Requirements :

Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, preferably within the mining industry
Strong knowledge of logistics operations and processes
Experience in managing inventory and tracking material movements
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Computer literacy and proficiency in logistics software
