Job Description

Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, and repair machinery and equipment according to blueprints and technical specifications
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify issues and determine the best course of action for repair
Inspect and test machinery to ensure it meets safety and performance standards
Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery, replacing parts, and adjusting machinery settings
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety regulations and guidelines
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Millwright
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience working on processing lines, specifically cut-to-length lines, is a requirement
Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), particularly Siemens S7 models, is a requirement
Prior experience working in the Steel Industry is highly preferred
Willingness to work in a variety of conditions, including high temperatures and confined spaces
Valid driver’s license

Additional Information:

This position may require occasional travel to different job sites
Overtime hours may be required, especially during peak production times
