Job Description

Responsibilities:

Receive goods via purchase orders and check delivery notes
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all goods received and issued
Ensure that the stock is stored in a safe and secure manner
Organize and maintain efficient stores and stock control systems
Prepare stock reports to management as required
Carry out stock takes as needed
Assist with the identification and implementation of improvements in stores processes
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements

Requirements:

Grade 12
Diploma in Supply Chain Management and Purchasing/BCom in Procurement
Effective communication abilities are essential.
Proficiency in negotiation techniques and interpersonal skills is required.
2 years’ of practical experience working within the mining sector, specifically in a comparable position.
Knowledge in MS Office applications and warehouse management systems.
Understanding of the Health and Safety Regulations.
