Roles & Responsibilities:
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of financial management. This includes executing and supervising transaction processing, ensuring accurate and thorough capturing of financial data. The role extends to overseeing the cashbook to trial balance processing, reconciliation, and conducting meticulous reviews to maintain precision in financial operations.

Additionally, the candidate will play a key role in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, involving the drafting and thorough review of management accounts. This multifaceted position also involves taking charge of the preparation and review of annual financial statements, as well as handling the preparation, review, and submission of income tax and VAT returns.

The financial analysis and forecasting aspect of the role require the candidate to conduct comprehensive forecasting and budgeting for revenue, expenses, and cash flow. They will be tasked with analyzing actuals against the budget to identify root causes of variances. Furthermore, the candidate will delve into business driver analysis, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

CA(SA) Accreditation is essential
5+ years management experience
8 to 10 years post article experience
Financial services, banking or similar experience is essential
