Duties & Responsibilities
Our client is currently seeking an Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis near Sandton. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the Accounting Department.
Duties:
Manage/review the reports produced by the Accountants before submitting to management.
Maintenance of the General Ledger on a monthly basis.
Assist in budget preparation.
Report on key risk areas to management.
Performance management of the team.
Assist with audits.
Report to management.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Matric/Grade 12 (Certificate required)
BCom degree in Finance (completed)
Advanced Excel essential
Good knowledge of IFRS
5 years in an accounting role
2- 3 years management experience
