Duties & Responsibilities

Job & Company Description:

A leading manufacturing company is looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join their vibrant finance team.

As a Group Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
Apply principles of accounting to analyse financial information.
Prepare financial reports for group and all statutory entities.
Preparation of Financials for Group and all statutory entities.
Compile and analyse financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
Install, modify, document and coordinate implementation of accounting systems and control procedures.
Taxation compliance across the group.
BEE – Working with Consultants and various departments, driving the timeline.
Review and release of all company payments – FNB/Standard Bank.
Managing external audits.
Review of VAT calculation and submission.
Reviewing and completion of Monthly Board packs.
Assisting sites and sales staff with financial queries.
Maintaining company documentation relating to WCA, Tax and Banking.
Fixed Asset Management.

Qualifications:

Completed Finance degree
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
