Job Description
Requirements:
Minimum N3 in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical.
Qualification in SHE (Health and Safety) management.
3 years of experience as a Safety Officer.
Strong technical background.
Proficient in Excel and reporting skills.
Own Transport
Purpose of Position:
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, international standards, and customer expectations.
Provide weekly, monthly, and formal review reports.
Ensure compliance across all departments.
Main Responsibilities/Key Performance Areas:
Coordinate and participate in hazard analyses.
Communicate and train staff on risk awareness.
Manage contractor health and safety requirements.
Update all legal appointments as required.
Plan and deliver monthly SHE awareness talks.
Track evacuation drills and log all incidents requiring medical treatment.
Conduct H&S audits across departments.
Track new machine risk assessment turnaround times.
Arrange annual and return-to-work medicals for employees in high-risk areas.

Knowledgeable and passionate about the OSH Act and other SHE legislation.
