Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities :

A leading company within the Interior Design and Construction Sector has a permanent opportunity available for a Junior Creditors Clerk, based in Sandton.

Key Responsibilities:

Electronic filing
Invoice reconciliations
Supplier account recons
Purchase Orders
Capturing of invoices & credit notes
Assistance with financial yearend
Credit applications
Implementing purchase order policy (liaising with suppliers to get bank confirmation letters, ensuring invoices match POs, etc.)
Updating and maintaining beneficiary schedules
Issuing purchase orders

Requirements:

Own vehicle
Able to understand Afrikaans
Able to work under pressure
Ad hoc willingness to work overtime
Accounting program knowledge (Pastel). EJM Accounting a bonus
2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
Willingness to learn
High attention to detail
Team player (good social fit)

Salary:

R15,000 – R30,000 negotiable (experience dependent)
