Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Relevant tertiary qualification in HR or related field with 3-5 years experience
Effective communication (English & Afrikaans)
Professional and comfortable temper
In-depth knowledge of relevant Labour Legislation.
Strong negotiating skills.
Able to act as a responsible spokesperson/ambassador in local social/community environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
Foster productive relationships by engaging with operational teams, and workers’ committees, facilitating conflict resolution, ensuring compliance with labour laws, and driving company culture.
Responsible for talent management, recruitment, Employment Equity, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Facilitating performance management processes, administering improvement plans, succession planning, and career development initiatives, while providing necessary training and support.
Oversee the company housing programme, manage various housing projects, develop, and implement policies by ESTA legislation, and conduct regular audits.
Manage employment contracts and funeral cover documentation processes.
Administer HR information systems, housing, and leave management, utilizing Sage software.
Salary is market-related.
