Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities :

Key performance areas:

Preparing the annual budget
Assisting suppliers with queries
Stock count of tyres/fuel/cleaning materials and stationery.
Operational involvement when needed
Analysing trial Balance and reporting on variances to last year and budget.
Weekly/Monthly reporting of transport operational cost.
Weekly fuel reports, including daily recons.
Expense control and preparation of invoices for payment.
Preparation and posting of month end journals, incl. accruals.
Monthly KPI, issues, KM, Casual labour and fuel comparison reports.
Maintain/manage monthly Banking

Desired Experience & Qualification

The successful candidate must have:

Matric with a relevant Commercial / Financial qualification.
Must have commercial/financial accounting experience in a transport/logistics environment.
Great computer literacy – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
SAP & Google Sheets experience will be advantageous
Must have good interpersonal skills at management and staff level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have a valid driver’s license
