Duties & Responsibilities
Assistant to the Operations Manager
Assist as supervisor when needed.
General Admin Duties
General System Administration
Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports
Daily performance review, ensuring work is completed within company expectations, Overseeing day-to-day operations, Effectiveness, Productivity, and Quality Control.
Perform detailed analyses of existing operations and processes, gathering applicable data and identifying areas for improvement.
Regularly communicate with operating teams and supervisors to present ideas, new processes, and analytic-based findings
Attend to system administration requirements and regular audits on data cleanliness.
Maintaining depot contact details.
Manage competing priorities.
Maintain and implement a disciplined environment (issue of warning, Initiate Disciplinary hearings)
Ability to have a good relationship with employees.
Assisting with recruitment processes, HR queries, shift planning, and payroll administration.
Integrating all leave into the roster, ensuring adequate cover for employees leave.
After-hour assistance for un-escalated events and assistance ensuring that all services and platforms are up and running.
Willingness to work flexible hours as and when the position requires it most and will require hours worked over weekends and public holidays as needed.
Taking responsibility and accountability for decisions and actions
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric / Grade 12
Logistics and/ or Telematics experience
MUST have Previous experience in a Supervisory role
Customer service experience advantageous
MUST have Own reliable transport with a valid driver’s licence
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Package & Remuneration
Basic salary : R15 000 – R20 000.00 per month, pending experience.
Working hours : Mondays to Fridays 08:00 to 17:00 and one Saturday per month.
Location: Woodstock (Cape Town)
