Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Conducting cost estimates and preparing tender documents
– Assisting in the preparation of bills of quantities
– Evaluating and negotiating contractor and supplier bids
– Conducting site visits and monitoring construction progress
– Providing advice on contractual matters and variations
– Managing project budgets and ensuring cost control
– Preparing and presenting reports to clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying
– Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials
– Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity surveying tools
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
