Duties & Responsibilities

Solutions Architect – Cape Town

Our client operates in the FinTech space for one of South Africa’s high-end retailers. We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join this agile and driven Engineering team.

You will be designing mobile & apps hosted in the cloud, while translating business requirements into architectural solutions. In addition, you will be formulating the digital state of the organization’s architecture, driving a high-level roadmap alongside the Product team.

As the Solutions Architect, you will be the go-to for stakeholders for all architectural content as well as driving the delivery of the business strategy.

In order to be successful in this role you will be experienced with either TOGAF, UML or Archimate. You will come from a software engineering background and Java will be the space in which you used to make magic happen! Experience with a cloud platform is crucial, this team is working with AWS.
