Duties & Responsibilities

We have partnered with one of South Africa’s leading drilling houses and who is currently looking for a Digital Transformation Lead to join their business in Johannesburg.

This exciting position will report to the EXCO team and be responsible for positioning the business for the future and provide the ability to find alternative solutions to their clients with cutting edge technology.

Within this key role, you will be:

Leading the business through organisational change programmes
Responsible for the successful delivery and understanding of the planned technology work streams
Identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions
Partner with stakeholders and build relationships ensuring a smooth transformation
Lead the IT operational and strategic planning
Define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practice

You need to have:

Bachelor of Technology
Hands on experience with Technical Project Management
A strong understanding of infrastructure, software technologies, networking, Data Centres, hardware, and integration
Experience and a proven track record in leading a senior team through large transformational projects.
The ability to build relationships and communicate the transformation clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.
