Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

To manage the warehouse and all operations thereof.
Ensure sufficient flow of procedures within the warehouse are met and ensuring floor productivity.
Able to work under pressure, delegating and re-organising tasks and staff to ensure the various tasks are attended to.
Working alongside Stock Controller to ensure the space management and inventory control of the stock.
Planning and assisting with the logistics of deliveries.
Overseeing the teams’ functions and duties and ensuring they are carried out correctly.
Ensuring all stocks that enter and exit the warehouse are recorded correctly, accounted for and stored safely.
Ensuring QC control over all stock items kept within the warehouse.
Supervising and assisting with receiving and dispatch of all stock items.
Ensuring all safety procedures are followed by the staff.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Matric with relevant Degree/Diploma/Certificate.
10 Years’ Warehouse environment experience.
5-10 Years’ Management/Supervisor position within a warehouse experience.
Experience with dealing with HR matters (e.g.: hearings / consultations with fellow staff withing the warehouse).
Knowledge in Quality Control procedures.
Experience with Receiving and Dispatch.
Batch numbers and understanding traceability thereof.
MS Excel – Intermediate
MS Outlook
Unleashed Software would be beneficial or have worked with stock inventory systems.
