Job Description

Duties :

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

Process value stream mapping;
Process efficiency improvement;
Project implementation and commissioning;
Work closely with quality manager to ensure food safety and quality compliance;
Work closely with production managers to ensure processes are efficient and effective;
Managing the projects team with regards to discipline, time-keeping and all work related requirements;
Collecting and analyzing data and KPIs;
Reviewing root cause analysis failure recommendations and implementing solutions;
Liaising with contractors related to quotations and execution of tasks;
All other tasks assigned to the incumbent.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

Must be a qualified Electrician or Fitter with 10 years working experience in poultry abattoir
5 years supervision experience. (Foreman level)
Experience in project work as outlined above will be an added advantage;
Experience in the Food Processing Industry would be an added advantage;
Must be computer literate and have good communication skills;
Must be able to work overtime, weekends and public holidays if necessary.
