Job Description
Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on winding and hoisting equipment
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults and breakdowns
Work with a team of skilled professionals to ensure safe and efficient operations
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians
Requirements:
Grade 12
Fitter Trade Test Certificate
Prior experience working as a Winder Fitter in the mining industry
Strong knowledge of winding and hoisting equipment
Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations in a mining environment
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and strong time management skills
