Duties & Responsibilities :

Key performance areas:

Design a profitable business model and ensure implementation
Ensure national Butchery procedures are implemented and adhered to
Ensure implementation of and adherence to the Food safety, Hygiene procedures and policies
To quality assess and control convenience foods suppliers
Efficiently managing the Butchery training school
Provide exception input regarding maintenance of Butchery equipment
Provide input and suggestions regarding Butchery lay-out and equipment
Ensure implementation of and adherence to processing and production procedures and policies
Ensure implementation of and adherence to meat cutting standards, procedures and policies
Conducting butchery training at our offices, school and stores.

Desired Experience & Qualification

The successful candidate must have:

Must have Matric or a qualification equivalent to a National Senior certificate
Must have a Butchery qualification
Must have at least 5 years Butchery experience
Butchery Management or Manufacturing experience will be advantageous
Cost accounting experience will be advantageous
Must have knowledge of Business management & financial management principles
Must be able to do a block test
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be willing to travel
