Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

– Inspecting, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment
– Performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on various types of machinery
– Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
– Ensuring all work is completed according to safety regulations and company standards
– Communicating effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities

Requirements:

– Millwright Trade Test or equivalent
– Minimum of 3 years experience as a Millwright in a FMCG setting
– Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance work
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
– Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

– Certification or education in Millwright or related field
– Experience working with hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and welding
– Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
