Job Description

Responsibilities:

Coordinate transportation of mining equipment, materials, and supplies to and from various mine sites.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies to meet production schedules.
Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any issues that may arise.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, expenses, and inventory levels.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures in logistics operations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in transportation activities.
Assist in developing and implementing logistics plans and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Essential Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
10 Years’ experience in train planning, execution, monitoring and general train operations in the mining industry.
Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the mining industry.
