Advertising Policy & Rules

These rules apply to paid job packages, featured placements and any banner or sponsored content displayed on grabemployment.com.

Last updated: 2026

Accepted advertising

  • Job vacancies posted through a Free, Basic, Standard, Extended, Company, Business or Unlimited package.
  • Featured and top-of-search placements included with paid packages.
  • Employer branding on company profile pages.
  • Skills, training and career-service adverts from verified South African providers.

Creative standards

  • Adverts must clearly identify the advertiser and link to a working, relevant destination.
  • Claims about salary, benefits, placement rates or earnings must be accurate and verifiable.
  • No misleading urgency, false scarcity, or clickbait phrasing.
  • Images must be licensed for commercial use and must not imply an endorsement by Grab Employment.

Prohibited adverts

  • Pay-to-apply schemes, paid training required to be considered, and any fee charged to job seekers.
  • Cryptocurrency, gambling, loan-shark and get-rich-quick offers.
  • Adult content, tobacco, weapons and unregulated health or medical claims.
  • Adverts imitating Grab Employment branding, or competing job boards recruiting our users.

Placement and rotation

Featured listings appear at the top of relevant search results and category pages for the duration of the package, and are highlighted in candidate email alerts. Placement rotates fairly among featured advertisers; exact position is not guaranteed.

Billing

All advertising is billed in South African Rand and paid up front by PayFast or PayPal. Prices include VAT where applicable. Posting credits remain valid for 12 months from purchase.

Once a job or advert has been published, the placement is final and no refund is issued. Adverts rejected during moderation before publication are refunded in full or reissued as credits.

Review and removal

We review every advert before publication and may edit obvious formatting or spelling issues. We may decline or remove any advert that breaches these rules, our Acceptable Use Policy or South African law, and will explain the reason by email.

Advertising enquiries are handled by email only at contact@grabemployment.com.
