How to spot a job scam before it costs you money

No legitimate employer or recruiter asks a candidate to pay for an interview, a uniform, a “placement fee” or a training deposit. If money is requested, it is a scam.
Check the email domain. Real employers write from a company domain, not a free mail address, and never conduct an entire hiring process over WhatsApp only.
Never share your bank details, ID document or SARS number before a written offer from a verified company.
Job posts with no company name, no location and salaries far above market are a red flag combination.
Report anything suspicious to contact@grabemployment.com with the job link and we will investigate and remove it.
